What was the highlight of Apartamentos Servatur Caribe
„Älteres, einfaches und preisgünstiges Hotel in guter Lage mit Serviceeinschränkungen.
Unser 2-Raum-Appartment (preiswertester Zimmertyp) war einfach und zweckdienlich ausgestattet. Für drei Sterne (Landeskategorie) hatten wir aber auch nicht mehr erwartet. Die Ausstattung der Kochzeile war spartanisch, es war zwar (fast) alles da, was wir brauchten, mehr aber auch nicht. Wohn- und Schlafzimmer waren ebenfalls einfach und schlicht ausgestattet. Wir hatten Meerblick. Auf dem Balkon war ein Wäscheständer angebracht, sehr praktisch. Der Poolbereich war sauber und gepflegt, nie überlaufen, ein Reservieren von Liegen mit Handtüchern kam nicht vor. Die Poolliegen wurden täglich vom Personal gesäubert. Bis zum Strand waren es 5 min zu Fuß. Das angebotene Frühstück schmeckte gut, zumindest anfangs. In der Umgebung ist es relativ ruhig, die "Partymeile" ist am Strand. Es gibt Supermärkte in der Nähe, ein Kleiner direkt um die Ecke. Der Siam-Water-Park ist zu Fuß in 7 min erreichbar, die Siam-Mall (großes Shoppingcenter) in 5 min zu Fuß.
Der Tisch vor dem Sofa im Wohnraum und der Tisch im Schlafzimmer waren wacklig und instabil, aber (noch) funktionstüchtig. In der Küche fehlten Spülmittel und Spülbürste. Die Balkone haben keine Sichtschutzwände links und rechts: man kann genau sehen, was auf den Nachbarbalkonen geschieht und hören/verstehen, was gesprochen wird. Das Hotel wird scheinbar öfter von Grüppchen jüngerer Männer gebucht, die sich über die Balkone hinweg lautstark unterhalten, was dann aufgrund der Akustik in allen Appartments zu hören ist. Überschreitet die Lautstärke ein gewisses Level, z.B. hatten wir an zwei Tagen einen Gitarrenspieler, der meinte, mit seiner Musik und seinem Gesang die ganze Anlage beglücken zu müssen, schreitet das Hotel aber ein und unterbindet das. Einmal drang der Geruch von gerauchtem Cannabis durch die offene Balkontür herein (ich kenne den Geruch, da ich beruflich manchmal mit Suchtkranken zu tun habe). Die Zimmer sind hellhörig: wird in einer anderen Wohnung gesprochen, kann man hören und verstehen, was gesagt wird. Die Reinigungskräfte betraten unser Zimmer etwa jeden zweiten Tag: es wurde neues Toilettenpapier bereitgestellt, neue Geschirrhandtücher ausgegeben, die Betten gemacht und die Mülleimer geleert. Während unseres ca. 10-tägigen Aufenthalts wurde jedoch nicht(s) gereinigt, auch die Handtücher im Bad und die Bettwäsche wurden nicht gewechselt. Das Frühstück wird an der Poolbar eingenommen. Es gibt nur zwei verschiedene Sets: American breakfast und Continental breakfast. Das schmeckte uns in den ersten Tagen gut, wurde dann jedoch, da es immer genau gleich war, eintönig. Wir hätten besser ohne Frühstück gebucht, uns komplett selbst verpflegt und das Frühstück nur nach Lust und Laune gegen Extra-Bezahlung nehmen sollen. Check-out ist um 11.00 Uhr. Wir wären gerne 2 Stunden länger geblieben, das hätte besser zu unserem Rückflug gepaßt. Das Hotel verlangte dafür jedoch 30€...
